At Stratford and Perth County Community Foundation, we believe in the power of people coming together to make a difference. Whether through community engagement, thoughtful giving, or innovative ideas, our mission is to build a stronger, more vibrant future for everyone we serve.
Founded in 2004 by a group of visionary community leaders, including representatives from local government and business, Stratford and Perth County Community Foundation was created with a simple but powerful vision: to be a trusted partner in local philanthropy. Over the years, we’ve grown into a dedicated team of professionals, volunteers, and community leaders committed to creating lasting impact across our region.
We work collaboratively with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to support local needs and seize new opportunities. From investing in meaningful projects to nurturing ideas that inspire, we are here to help good grow.

We respectfully acknowledge that this traditional territory is governed by two treaties.
The first is the “Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant” of 1701, made between the Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an agreement to set violence aside and peacefully share and care for the land in the Great Lakes Basin. The second is the “Huron Tract Treaty” of 1827, an agreement made by eighteen Anishinaabek Elders and an agency of the British Crown.
Our ability to live, work and enjoy this area is connected to their deep loss. We ask all in our community to listen and advocate for when injustice is present while actively continuing to learn the true history of the lands on which we reside.
