Bruce Pitkin is Executive Director of ArtsBuild Ontario and a senior nonprofit leader with more than twenty years of experience in community development, arts and culture, and organizational leadership. His work focuses on strengthening organizations through strategic planning, governance, and the development of sustainable community infrastructure.

Bruce previously served as Community Impact Manager at United Way Perth-Huron, where he led funding strategies, community partnerships, and initiatives addressing local priorities. He has also held executive roles with Theatre Ontario and Art Starts, leading organizational growth, sector development, and multi-stakeholder initiatives across Ontario.

He brings extensive board governance experience, having served on boards including United Way Greater Toronto and ArtsBuild Ontario, and as Co-Chair of the Provincial Arts Service Organizations (PASO) Coalition, advocating for arts and culture across Ontario. His governance work emphasizes fiduciary oversight, strategic planning, and community impact.

In addition to his professional work, Bruce volunteers as a Crisis Responder with Victim Services Perth-Huron, providing frontline support and insight into community needs. He lives in Stratford and is committed to supporting a vibrant, resilient, and inclusive community.
