Another Fabulous Mayor's Gala!

It was a fabulous night hosted by Stratford’s Mayor, Dan Mathieson. Friends mingled to the distinct jazz sounds of the Michael Wood Trio and were captivated by featured performer, Barbara Fulton, who was accompanied by Paul Shilton. Attendees were also treated to hor d’oeuvres from all over Perth County.

Our 2010 Community Grants were presented to 10 local organizations. Click here to see the list of recipients and their projects. We also announced our newest endowment fund – the Annie and Isabelle Chesterfield Fund. Michael Kennedy talked about his mother’s bequest to the Town of St. Mary’s.

Over all, we were able to raise over $10,000 from our silent auction that included many unique and exceptional gifts. Many thanks to all our Hospitality and Financial Partners.

The Mayor's Gala supports the Stratford and Perth County Community Foundation. Most of the dollars the Community Foundation raises go directly into endowed funds. The income from these funds is returned to the community through grants to local charities. The Mayor's Gala is an important source of operating dollars, crucial for the administration of existing endowments, the building of additional community investments, the management of our annual granting program and the services we provide to partners and charities.
