Review of Application by Grant Advisory Committee
The Committee will review the application and complete a requirement checklist. Additional information or clarification may be requested from the applicant. Advice from other knowledgeable individuals or organizations may be solicited.

Grant Decisions
The Grant Advisory Committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on their choices for 2012 Community Grant recipients. These recommendations will go to the Board of Directors in November 2012.

Communication of Results
The results of the application process will be communicated to grant applicants in December 2012. At that time all successful grant applicants will be asked to complete and sign a grant agreement, to be returned to the Community Foundation office by early January 2013.

Announcements of 2012 Grant Recipients
2012 Community Grant Recipients will be announced at the 2013 Mayors Gala in January 2013. All grant recipients are requested to attend to accept their grant certificate.

Accountability - Reporting and Evaluation
As a matter of accountability to Community Foundation donors, the Board of Directors and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the Grant Advisory Committee will undertake an appropriate review of all funded projects to ensure compliance with the terms under which the grant was awarded and to evaluate the impact of the grant on the achievement of project and community objectives. All grant recipients are required to give interim reports and a final report at the completion of the project.
